This Task looked at the formation of alliances and antagonisms in cultural conflicts in a wide area covering EU and its southern and eastern neighbourhoods, from Sahara to Ural. It applies sentiment and network analysis to news articles and social media samples to examine interissue dynamics, focusing on development of tensions, polarization, and conflict.

One result from this task was the Twitter Parliamentarian Database.
