Contested European boundaries: refugees
This Case Study aims to provide a deep qualitative and quantitative analysis of ongoing conflicts over Europe's boundaries in the context of the refugee crisis. By extracting conflict representations
from textual data, we identify and explain divergences among different participants in the debate. Combining ideas from quantitative geography and media studies we develop a geographically sensitive approach to data analysis highlighting the different content and dynamics of the debate over Europe's boundaries in different local, regional, and national contexts.
